Knitting season begins...

September is here and, in my mind at least, that pretty much means the end of summer. While this is of course bad news for most sun-loving people I feel like for the knitters and bakers of this world the end of summer is always at least a little bit of a good thing! Let's be honest, knitting in the heat is just not that fun and in the end neither is baking. So I for one am looking forward to September and the whole of Autumn a lot! I've been putting together a little To Do list of things I want to do this month and thought I would share the list so far:

To Make:

2. This beautiful crochet bow garland...

To Bake:

In Time To Watch...

What's on your September To Do List?

Love Scarlett.

  1. I started reading Anna Karenina in time for the film about 4 months ago. I'm still only just over a third into it. I love it but I keep getting distracted by other books.

  2. I am also planning on spending Autumn surrounded by wool! I like crocheting cakes in particular!

  4. Hi

Love your blog. I'm thinking of starting on of my own. Can you tell me if we're allowed to just re-publish photos from other blogs/websites. I don't know much about this yet but I thought there was an issue with putting other people's photos on because it took up their webspace or something. Any help appreciated. Your blog is so good, it's like a little treat every time you post.

  5. Oh that bow garland is just wonderful. Is it an icord? I have no clue.

The little ones and I had plans to enter the September village show. It was today. Eldest won 1st for her miniature garden & painted egg and littlest for her pig-made-out-of-a-potato! (I got a prize for a posy). Woooo! It was like the vegetable Olympics.
