Mr Elephant

Mr Elephant is my newest and favourite creation. He is mostly my favourite because I made up the pattern for him myself! This is my first pattern I have ever made up so he is nowhere near as good as some of the professional ones but for a first attempt I am very happy! He is really tiny and has little sleepy eyes and a pink smile. Elephants have always been one of my favourite animals and I love Dumbo so that is why I wanted to make an elephant. He is also made of grey cashmere which means he is SO soft and cuddly.

Please give me your comments and tell me if you like him or not! And if there are any knitters who want to make him I can send you the instructions. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Love Scarlett and The Elephant.

  2. Oh he is so cute and you are so clever. Knitting is something I just can't get on with, can bake a cake and sew, but can only knit scarves! looking forward to seeing more.

  9. Very beautiful! I must get to grips with tiny knitted creatures. I know of so many nearly due babies who should all have their own creation to love! Very cool, very clever! Keep posting, Claire x

  15. Love your elephant! Will you be posting the pattern soon? I fancy having a go at one of those. Have you checked the Ravelry website? There's loads of stuff on there for knitting/crochet/crafting and you if you are writing your own patterns you can sell them on there too. Good luck with all your endeavours and I shall enjoy keeping up to date with your blog. xxx

  19. Hi Scarlett, I got my sister-in-law to teach me the basic stitches over the weekend and have practiced a bit using you tube, would your elephant be suitable for a complete beginner or is he too difficult? I'm totally in love with him.
